Perhaps the most striking aspect of a motorcycle trip with Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Holidays is the geography and Western Canada’s rugged beauty.
Western Canada is free, pure, large, uncrowded and wild. With 2.5 people per square kilometer, it has one fifteenth the population density of the United States and less than one fiftieth that of Europe. Here you can stop at breathtaking lookouts and enjoy the scenery rather than waiting for people to move out of your way.
Within a thousand kilometers you can see the ocean, deserts, rain forests, pristine lakes, rolling foothills and glacier capped mountains. Each ecosystem has its own flora and fauna in abundance. This enormous diversity in terrain keeps your riding interesting and full of surprises.

The roads we travel are almost exclusively two-lane, well maintained secondary roadways. Much of the riding is done on twisty mountain roads. Alternate routes are offered depending on the rider’s taste. The local “gems” are always pointed out in advance.
On route, you will stay in the finest hotels and inns that each area has to offer. We have carefully chosen places that provide interesting variety, ranging from the elegant Summit Lodge, “Whistler’s Finest Boutique Hotel” to lakeside inns serving dinner on the dock. Your meals along the way will be truly top-notch and there is never a set menu, simply order whatever your heart desires.
Everyone is free to set their own pace or ride with our helpful guide. In a typical day, we will travel between 350 and 425km. This length of trip gives our guests the choice to keep riding, try an activity or simply relax between stops.

Western Canada has the reputation of being one of the most beautiful places in the world, and Whistler, where all our holidays depart, has won the reputation as North America’s finest resort (as rated by Snow Country Magazine for the past six years).

The next morning you will start your ride heading North from Whistler on Route 99, one of Canada’s most spectacular drives.

Vancouver is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The combination of mountains and ocean make for a wonderful backdrop to this vibrant, modern city. Many of our guests spend an extra day or two in Vancouver either before or after their ride through the Mountains. We can help you with your reservations and suggestions on what to do and where. Take a walk along the sea wall, ride a bicycle through Stanley park or just check out the excellent dining and shopping Vancouver has to offer. Don’t forget, everything you buy is paid for with Canadian Pesos! Our transfer to Whistler will pick you up right from the lobby of your hotel.

Sue and I were looking for the holiday of a lifetime to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and that is exactly what we got from Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Holidays. Every day for a week was spectacle built on spectacle whilst we were looked after with the best hospitality that BC has to offer.
We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity of riding the whole range of Triumph machinery on some of the best biking roads in the world. The company and new friendships of like minded motorcyclists made the experience all the more pleasurable. So much so that you can be sure that we will be back for more!”
