After visiting us at the MCN Show in London, she penned this lovely little poem about her Holiday and uploaded some footage they took for us all to enjoy.
Rocky Mountain Montage
Rockies
We came to ride the Rockies
With the Rocky Mountain Moto Team
We did it for Geoff’s birthday
It had always been his dream
Well his dream was truly awesome
We had the best trip of our lives
They’re great at Rocky Mountain
They even entertain your wives
There is Mangler king of munchies
Knows all the menus to a tee
Fine fish, best meat and vegetables
He’s the expert, you will see
Good ol’ Mangler is a happy soul
Has a grin from ear to ear
Well who wouldn’t faced with all that food
And liquor, wine and beer
Jarvis knows the fast roads
He’ll let you go off at a pace
Someone should have reminded Geoff
He was not competing in a race
Our Jarvis likes the ladies
He spins lines - I’ve heard a few
He’ll introduce you to the clubbing scene
If you enjoy a bop or two
Derek’s a smouldering mystery
A man of fewer words
Apart from on the radio
When he and Jarvis spot the birds
An ornithologist and a leading guide
On our first day, through the freeze
Then in the truck to Nelson
I had the pleasure of his knees
Then last but not least Libby
Her work is never done
With hotels and meals to pre-arrange
It’s all chores and little fun
She is a smart efficient cookie
The brains behind the pack
She was there to wave us on our way
And there again when we got back
In addition to the Rocky team
There were folk from far and wide
From the States to bonnie Scotland
And the gang from Merseyside
We all embarked upon this journey
More strangers than as friends
Over time we shared adventures
As pals we parted at the end
There was Bill the biscuit baron
He likes Ferraris and Fat Boys
One night he almost added Daryl
To his little box of toys
Bill hails from bonnie Scotland
Where Bill’s are known as brave
At the nightclub with young Jarvis
He once nearly had a rave
Paul was the only yank aboard
The wise guy from the hood
Who moved North to Toronto
When he heard the life was good
He had never rode a Triumph
But he soon got the ‘knack’
And now he’s switched from Edelweiss
He ain’t never goin back
Mike donned his Harley t-shirts
A new one for each day
He wears them when he rides back home
The hog goes best that way
Jean she liked the slower pace
She never missed a scene
Shot pictures of the wildlife
Sky so blue and trees of green
Jan was a real speed trooper
But she needed lots of wees
She couldn’t do what the boys did
To water all the trees
Derek and the triple
Well they got on just fine
He might have swapped for the ST
But Geoff said ‘Hands off it’s mine’
At last my ditty’s over
My little tribute to the team
My thanks for letting him indoors
Realise his special dream
It’s been great to ride the Rockies
The mountain passes and the bends
The food the beer and the company
Of some special new found friends
Take Care now!!

Luxury motorcycle trips from 7 to 15 days through the Canadian and U.S. Rocky Mountains.
"Thanks again for an extraordinary holiday. The organization, accommodations, meals, service, guides and routes were outstanding.
While I can’t give you any credit for the scenery, it too was breathtaking. As for the ride, the Triumphs were superb. The freedom to tear up the road ahead of the guide or fall behind to take in the postcard views made for just the right mix of no-worry vacationing and head-on adventure.
Empty roads, infinite sweeping curves and high performance bikes- who could ask for more? Save me a spot next year on the eleven day trip - I’m addicted.”
