Motorbike Feedback from our Guests

So this year we added the BMW R1200 RT, the Moto Guzzi Breva 1100, and the Aprilia RSV 1000R:

The BMW R1200 RT was our response to the now extinct Trophy. People seemed to really enjoy the Beamers for the comfort level and touring capabilities. RMMH was planning on adding the BMW F650 GS for ‘08. However, we’ve recently received numerous requests for the R1200 GS which appears to be emerging as one of the top adventure touring bikes. Should we add the 650 GS, the 1200 GS, both?

We just noticed BMW’s plans to introduce the F800 to the GS line-up. What are people saying about this compromise between the 650 and the 1200?

Also, we’re looking into establishing a formal rental agreement with our local Harley Davidson dealership. This would allow us to facilitate a Harley rental for our tours much more easily. Not everyone’s cup of tea we know, but a solid portion of the European market wants to ride North America on a Harley. Not to mention our American clients who ride a Hog back home. Who would be keen to rent a Harley for our tours?

Do you have any comments about changes Triumph made for 2007 to the Tiger and Sprint?  Do you prefer the old-style Tiger, or feel the change is for the better? How about the ‘08 Triumphs? Does anyone have an opinion on the new Street Triple? Maybe a little too small?

Any thoughts on the Italian motorbikes we’ve added? We think the Guzzi’s a solid touring bike and the Aprilia is a great toy for those off-day rides.

We love to hear your comments - good and bad!

Testimonials

Dear All,

Just a short note to thank your company & all involved with it for the great riding last week. The guides, Brandon, Jarvis & Kenny were all very helpful and would do anything they could to help—Please thank them for me.

It was really a memorable week, especially with none of the worry of luggage & planning where to go, what to see, where to eat etc. We could just concentrate on the riding - with a clean visor as they were cleaned every 2 hours or so! What service! The back-up was there too, with 2 spare bikes & a truck with gear & drinks available whenever we liked. The choice of roads was excellent, lots of twisties & deserted roads and I am sure my riding improved during the weeks 2500km.

The hotels, guesthouse and restaurants were of the highest quality, and my only concern was if my leathers would fit me by the end of the week! Please also thank Libby & Chantelle for all the prompt responses to all my E-Mail queries and for sorting out my extra requests for accommodation & trips. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to any of my mates who fancy a trip biking in Canada & I will be thinking about booking next year, perhaps the West Coast/ California trip.

I cannot wait for the photos to come back & I am sure the internet will be “hot” as our group swaps pictures.

Thanks!!!!!

Tim Wileman, Melbourne, Derby, UK
