Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Holidays 2010 Rental Rates & Self Guided Tours

Motorcycles for self-guided tours and rentals will be made available from May 1st to October 1st, 2010. Reservations will be accepted as of March 1st, 2010 so as to allow our guests who book our guided holidays first priority on bike availability. • $225.00 per day - $1350.00 weekly rental - $1235.00 additional week

All rentals come with a 300km per day limit - $0.25 for each additional kilometer. Insurance is included in the rates above. A tax of 5% GST and 7% PST will be added to all rental charges. All guests who book a self-guided tour or rental with RMMH are required to sign a rental agreement and waiver of liability form with a $2500 - $3000 CND security/damage deposit depending on the model of motorcycle. A credit card or cash deposit is mandatory to rent a bike from RMMH.

A $500 deposit is required by credit card at the time of booking to secure the rental 30 days in advance. This deposit secures an available motorcycle for the period of time agreed upon by both RMMH and the renter. An additional $2000 - $2500 (depending on the model of motorcycle) is due by credit card at the time of pick-up to account for the remainder of the security deposit.

If a reservation is made under 30 days in advance, the entire balance of the security deposit will be charged at the time of booking. The rental fee will be charged to the customer and is due upon the safe return of the motorcycle. At which time the security deposit will be refunded after an inspection of the motorcycle for damage has been completed and both parties are satisfied. Single day reservations are pre-paid in advance for the full amount.

A motorcycle delivery surcharge for one-way trips and alternate locations (i.e. Whistler, Calgary, Banff) is approximately $0.50 per kilometer - round trip from Vancouver.

We rent helmets at $5 CDN per day and have a full selection of sizes available. We also rent jackets of various sizes at $10 CDN per day (combined helmet and jacket rental rate is $90/week).

All of our bikes come equipped with hard luggage (a topbox and/or side bags) and heated hand grips.

RMMH Self-Guided Tours

Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Holidays can facilitate a wonderful motorcycle holiday for you complete with a scheduled itinerary but without the guided group and support vehicle. Utilizing our years of expertise riding the local roads we can put together a custom itinerary of specified length featuring the best routes, sites and accommodations that have made our guided tours so popular.

Our rates will vary on a case by case basis, but a typical self-guided holiday will average around $400 - $600 CAD per day (bike rental included). If you're interested please don't hesitate to contact us and we can customize a self-guided holiday package for you today!
