The Grills and Greens tour is all about living the dream! Have you ever wanted to jump on your motorcycle and go for a golfing holiday, only to realize the folly of trying to carry your clubs on the back of your bike? Well, you're about to live the dream! Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Holidays is currently developing another first-class motorcycle tour that checks off some the best golf courses around southwestern British Columbia.

The tour will start in Whistler and circle up and around the south Chilcotin into the Thompson-Nicola valley. We'll ride some scenic backroads in the Okanagan and then head down through Vernon, Kelowna and Osoyoos before heading back to Vancouver along the US border. The holiday will span six or seven days and get you out for approximately four to six rounds of golf.

Ocean, mountain, and desert-side golf will be played, as BC's quiver of courses is one of the more varied in the business. Although the exact itinerary is subject to change, the holiday should feature a handful of BC golfing jewels like Nicklaus North in Whistler, Tobiano in Kamloops, and Predator Ridge in Vernon. Guests will be encouraged to bring their own equipment (with club rentals available of course), as our support vehicle has more than enough space to accommodate everyone's gear.

Trip Highlights

• The Duffey Lake Road, Lillooet and Kamloops
• Sun Peaks Road, Adams Lake, and Shuswap Lake
• Predator Ridge Resort and Westside Road, Vernon
• Exploration of the Okanagan
• Princeton, Manning Park and Hope

All routes are subject to change due to unforeseen events.

Day 1:
Arrive in Vancouver for Tour Orientation and Meet & Greet Dinner at the Delta Burnaby Hotel

Day 2:
Ride to Osoyoos, BC

Day 3:
Day off in Osoyoos; Round of golf at Spirit Ridge Golf resort course (9 holes) or Osoyoos Golf & Country Club (18 holes); or Optional Day ride to Apex & Penticton (183 km)

Day 4:
Ride to Vernon, BC

Day 5:
Day off in Vernon; Round of golf at Predator Ridge Resort or Optional Day ride on Westside Road (140 km)

Day 6:
Ride to Kamloops, BC

Day 7:
Day off in Kamloops; Round of golf Tobiano Golf Resort or Optional Day ride to Logan Lake via Lac le Jeune Road (300 km)

Day 8:
Ride to Whistler, BC

Day 9:
Morning Round of golf at Nicklaus North or Fairmont Whistler Golf Course; Ride to Vancouver in the afternoon for final night's dinner (120km)

Day 10:
Travel Day

Total mandatory Riding: 1315km

Total possible riding with all optional rides: 1938km

Total possible golf courses played (unless two rounds are played in one day): 4

This tour features: all up-scale accommodation, four green fees, golf club rentals as requested, gourmet meals, motorcycle rental & insurance, chase vehicle for luggage / passengers / spare motorcycles, guide service, maps, fees for parks / ferries / activities, and transfers to/from Whistler, B.C. INCLUDED in the price of the holiday:

• All upscale accommodation, including first & last nights stay.
• All high quality breakfasts & dinners (except off-days), NEVER a set menu, order what you want!
• Motorcycle rental and insurance, bikes are washed & maintained routinely, guests are welcome to trade bikes around.
• Four green fees; equipment rentals as requested.
• Chase vehicle for luggage, spare bikes and weary passengers.
• Top notch and experienced guided service.
• Transfers to/from Whistler, B.C.
• Holiday handbooks complete with maps and activity information.
• Entrance fees to National Parks.
• Fares for ferries and scheduled activities.
• Snacks & refreshments at scheduled stops.

• Fuel not included for your motorcycle (approx. $15-$20/day CAD).
