Hi All, Having test ridden the Street Triple just after it’s launch in the UK and was immediately impressed (as I believe everybody else has been). It does not feel like a ‘small’ bike at all, and really it isn’t. Plenty of excitement all round. I think it would be an excellent addition to your fleet being that much lighter than it’s bigger brother it will appeal to a broader range of people. I ordered a Roulette Green model on Nov 1st and have got to wait until May’08 for delivery (black or white March/April at that time). Cheers for now...........Vic

Seasonal greetings to all. I only went to my local Triumph dealer in the UK for some oil and ended up buying a Street 3!. Took delivery in September. It is a brilliant bike and my 01 Speed 3 is now a distant (but very pleasant) memory. If RMMH put one on the fleet, ride it, you won’t be disappointed.....Guy Creswell
Greetings All -
Since I’ve never met a Triumph I didn’t like, and I get to ride them all -
Street Triple - a well-balanced machine that will be exceptional on technical roads. Decent ergos for normally sized humans with sporty ergos tempered with decent legroom, standard bar position & shorter reach to ground than you might expect.
Triumph Tigers - I’ve never met a Tiger I didn’t like. Pre-07’s a bit unrefined but all-day comfortable. Tiger 1050’s are the best sport-touring mount in the Triumph lineup, it will hang with anything on the tarmac and you CAN run them down hardpack or gravel roads.
BMW 800 GS - This looks like it could be an outstanding offering. You might even talk me into throwing a leg over one someday.
Harleys - Give the people what they want! However don’t rule out the new Rocket Tourer [2008]. This bike will deliver on the promise to be a well-balanced long range tool - and it has style as well as that big shaft-drive triple pumping out tons of torque at only 2000 revs.
Moto Guzzi - How about a Norge? Or wait - have you ever thought about something like a KTM Adventure?
