The Bikes

Triumph Sprint ST 1050 with ABS

Sport-touring with the emphasis on Sport. The Sprint ST is the solution when you crave a sport bike but want to ride all day and need to be comfortable the whole trip.

Offered with the additional security of ABS, the Sprint ST has been our most popular model and a big favourite with the guides.

In their May 2006 issue Rider (US) Magazine chose the Triumph Sprint ST as their favourite Sport-Touring motorcycle over the VFR800FI, Ducati ST3 ABS and BMW 1200ST.

The Sprint ST is perfect for those looking for a touring bike with elements of a European sport bike, for solo or two-up riding.

Triumph Tiger 955i

Photo of Triumph Tiger 955i

2006 model held over by popular demand!

Triumph’s Tiger 955i may present a conundrum for the categorically obsessed. Though tall, narrow and seemingly trail-ready, it is not a dirt bike. The Tiger may be built for comfort, but it is far from a cruiser. And, while minimally terrain flexible, it will never be confused with a dual sport. The Tiger, according to the current zeitgeist of marketing buzzwords, is classified as an adventure touring bike. Like the Buell Ulysses and the BMW R 1200 GS, the Tiger seeks to satiate the wanderlust of a generation who wouldn’t be caught dead on a Honda Gold Wing, but rather considers itself youthful, rugged, and somewhat sporty. Semantic vagaries aside, the best spokesperson for the bike is, of course, the bike itself.

BMW R1200 RT

Combining the potent torque of the BMW Boxer engine with the sophisticated design and smooth ride of a premium-touring machine, the R1200 RT delivers an optimal mix of excitement and comfort for both rider and passenger.

Unlike other touring bikes this size, the R1200 RT is still great fun in the corners while offering every creature comfort a motorcyclist could ask for. Mozart in the Mountains … why not?!

Perfect for riders who want both performance and long-distance touring comfort and ability.

Twisties? Touring? Gravel roads? New to our fleet for 2008 it hardly matters because to the R 1200 GS, the most versatile machine in the GS lineup. Featuring a 5% increase in power from it’s predecessor the 1150 GS for even quicker acceleration. Handling is agile and precise thanks to a Telelever suspension system. Comes equipped with BMW hard luggage (side bags and top box), ABS brakes and heated grips.

The R 1200 GS also gets a few sporty new features that make it even more eye-catching, including stainless steel knee covers on each side of the gas tank, dynamic cylinder covers, as well as an ergonomic aluminum handlebar and a more comfortable seat. The result? A bike that thrashes every road you throw at it and begs for more.

Testimonials

“Pretty hard to say there wasn’t enough wildlife. I know you folks at Rocky Mountain are good, but I don’t think we can expect the wildlife to show up on command, can we? Roads were great and much better to ride some back roads and stay off the main highways. Loved everything about this holiday.”
