Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Holidays offers all-inclusive motorcycle tours ranging from 7-15 day trips. Tours are run seasonally from May to November.

Tours travel through British Columbia and Alberta’s beautiful mountain ranges and National Parks, down the Pacific Coastline through Washington, Oregon, into California, across the desert through Arizona to Nevada, as well as portions of Utah, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.

Ultimate of the West

Trip Overview

Several summers ago we ran a custom trip through the US Rockies. When we rode through Glacier Park, Montana, we absolutely fell in love with the place. The ride over Logan Pass is one of the most spectacular rides in the world.

As a follow-up we did some more exploring in the area and found some wonderful twisties linking Whitefish, Montana, with Nelson, British Columbia, one of our favourite towns north of the 49th parallel. We threw it all together and call it the Ultimate of the West.

Coast to California

15 Days Total, 13 Riding Days.

Destination: California, Oregon, Washington

Trip Overview

Offering the best of both the Canadian and American west coast, the Coast to California holiday starts in Whistler, travels to the BC interior and follows the Okanagan Valley south over the international border to the Columbia Gorge. We visit Mount St. Helens and head west to the Pacific Ocean before turning south along the Oregon Coastline to California.

Once in California, we ride Northern California's “Forgotten Coast,” followed by a stop in Mendocino on the way to finish the ride in Sonoma wine country. This 15-day, one-way holiday presents without a doubt the most diverse scenery of any Rocky Mountain holiday and offers the best of both the Canadian and American West Coast. (Unfortunately Harley Davidson bikes are not available for this particular tour)

California Sea to Sky

11 Days Total, 9 Riding Days

Destination: California

Trip Overview

The California Sea to Sky holiday not only travels the best of the shoreline, but adds little known routes like Highway #49 and combines the “must dos” of Yosemite and Sonoma to offer a truly comprehensive California motorcycle vacation.

In 2007 we added an extra day on to the California Sea to Sky holiday. The trip now offers nine days of riding, allowing us to ride more of the spectacular California coastline, visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, overnight in Carmel and a tour of Hearst Castle.

Sea to Sin City

13 Days Total, 11 Riding Days

Destination: California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah

Trip Overview

NEW for 2008 the Sea to Sin City holiday features two of the most popular travel destinations in North America. We'll ride from the sandy beaches of Southern California's San Diego (one of the U.S. most desirable cities to live in) through the desert, to the bright lights of Las Vegas, America's playground for the affluent. Don't forget your camera and plenty of extra film or memory cards for this one!

Highlights include: Joshua Tree National Park, Route 66, Death Valley, The Grand Canyon, Brice Canyon, Zion, Moab, and of course Las Vegas itself!.

• Prices range from $4,000 to $13,000 depending on trip length.
• Prices available for Single Rider (own room), Single Rider (shared room, double) and Rider & Passenger (shared room, double).
• The current rate for bringing your own motorcycle on a tour is a credit for $200.00 CAD per riding day taken off the price of your holiday.
• Prices for riding strictly as a passenger or 3 persons sharing a hotel room are available upon request.
• All prices are in Canadian funds – for current exchange rates please call or email us.
• Custom holidays (in Western North America) are available provided we receive sufficient notice for scheduling. Please contact us.

• Personal medical and/or travel insurance is not covered in the price of our holidays (motorcycle insurance with $3,000.00 deductible included).

• Personalized service and exciting activities are a big part of our holidays.
• Our guides are available to make sure guests enjoy themselves, whether they choose a round of golf, a water-ski, helicopter tour, or would just like to know where to take a quiet stroll.
• Your motorcycle is washed and inspected regularly before you ride. Free snacks & refreshments are provided at every stop along with your visor being wiped clean. And your bags are personally delivered to your room every evening and picked up the next morning.

Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Holidays offers a variety of new Triumph, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

We prefer Triumph, BMW, Moto Guzzi, and Aprilia because the balance of agility, power and comfort of these bikes is ideally suited to our mountain routes.
